This episode features some outstanding stunt work by Peter Breck!

Peter also writes in Wildest Westerns Magazine that he was learning the craft of stunt fighting during Black Saddle and accidentally connected a swing with the stunt man leaving that man with a black eye! Check out the stable sequence perhaps this is the scene he spoke of !?

Special Guest Star:

Dick Sargent

He was born Richard Cox on April 19, 1930 in Carmel, California. His mother, Ruth McNaughton, was a minor actress known as Ruth Powell. His father was Elmer Cox, a business manager to such notable actors as Douglas Fairbanks and Erich Von Stroheim.

Dick started out in Hollywood as Richard Sargent and his first film was Prisoner of War (1954) with Ronald Reagan. He continued with television as both a dramatic and comedic actor, appearing in such shows as Wagon Train and Gunsmoke.

He was offered the role of Darrin Stephens in a show called Bewitched, but was still under contract with Universal Studios. Instead he continued with other projects. In 1969, Dick York became too ill to continue with the show. Dick Sargent was free of his contract with Universal and was able to take on the role of Darrin, with no explanations to viewers. He starred with Elizabeth Montgomery for three seasons until the show ended in 1972. Dick continued with various TV roles throughout the 70s and 80s, including roles in Baretta, The Waltons, and Charlie’s Angels. Dick never married, and later in life did charity work for many gay rights organizations. He died on July 8, 1994 from prostate cancer at the age of 64. -Biography by 1262Mac
